I finally finished all my exams today (well, yesterday). It was a great feeling. I’ve done so much work that it’s a great relief to get the bulk of it done. Now all I have to do is wait till August to see if all that work was worth it (that’s when the grades come out). I had Travel as my last exam. It wasn’t too hard, I found. Obviously, saying that meant that I did pretty rubbish on it. If it is rubbish, I’ll re-take it next year. I’m dropping Geography, as I just find the subject really boring now. I used to really enjoy it. The teachers I had at GCSE were awesome. Now we have two boring teachers teaching a boring subject. What fun.
On Saturday, I saw Sex and the City: The Movie. I’ve seen the series enough to realise what the whole premise of the franchise is. I found it to be okay. It wasn’t as frank as the series. Well, the movie was frank, but it didn’t really go into depth like the series. I suppose because they can spread the issues they deal with between numerous episodes, while the movie only has 2 hours to tell its part of the story. There’s probably also the influence of Hollywood; they’re only interested in making money, so they try to appeal to everyone, even though the movie already had an audience. The whole movie did feel like a really extended episode. And they kind of spent the first half an hour introducing the characters, probably for the benefit of people who have no knowledge of the series. I did love the fashion though. Some of the wedding dresses Carrie wore were beautiful. If I was a woman, I would want to get married in one of them.

So something I like to do on a regular is make sushi. I last made it on Thursday, so I decided to take a few pictures of how it went and came out as.
First of all, I had to wash the rice. It’s a boring process, but at least my rice is clean when I eat it? XD
Midway through the washing process. The water is so cloudy.
Next, I make the seasoning with 2 parts rice vinegar, one part mirin and a little sugar. I forgot to burn the alcohol out of the mirin so my sushi tasted a bit like beer.
Yeah, we have a lot of bottles. We have two more cupboards full of various sauces. On the right-hand side of the picture, you can see my most favourite sauce in the world, tonkatsu sauce. It’s a bit like Worchestershire sauce, except it’s thick and sweet. It’s mainly used for topping on the dish tonkatsu, which is a breaded Japanese dish. I make that too. ^^
So my exams are over. Politics went quite well I suppose. I thought I might have mixed up my Political system, so the first thing I did when I walked out the exam hall was to check and phew, I didn’t. I had good timing as well so I didn’t feel rushed.
However, Geography is another story. XD I did quite badly on that I think. I was so rushed on the last question that I did a paragraph on one of the mini-essays. How do they expect us to fill in 2 pages? -__- I probably would have done better if I revised the topics, or if the subject was actually interesting.
Hosnap, I haven’t updated this in a while. The exam season has fallen upon me and I have exams in the coming week, so woe is me. In other news, I ordered a KAWAII new bag and pencil case, and bought myself a new nigh quality webcam. Now I can make that 2girls1cup pr0n tribute video I’ve always wanted to make. In HD too! *Cough*
