I had quite an awesome weekend. My two friends, Joe and Shaun came up all the way from Poole, Dorset (Geography class: moan) for two days, so we could attend London Expo, a clash of different subjects all under one roof. We were mainly interested in the anime part of the convention. Well, they were. I don’t particularly like anime. So much that I’ve been to two anime conventions. XD Anyway, it was pretty much the same as last year, although it was way bigger than last year and the queue was like, 3484643785 times longer. I’m not even joking. Last time, there was only my group in the queue (and we got there quite early) and like, 2 people behind the desk. This year, a whole convention hall was dedicated to queuing. The line twisted and turned at least 5 times when we got in; I heard some people have been queuing since 8:30am in the morning (the convention started at 11am for normal tickets, and 10pm for people with fast-track tickets).

There were loads of people giving out “free hugs”; Joe made some guy in a balaclava give me one, as much as I protested and screamed like a kawaii 13-year-old school girl. There were also loads of people dressed in cosplay. It was pretty amusing. Some people looked totally awesome; some other people looked ridiculous. Actually, most of them looked ridiculous. I mean, Caucasians dressed as Asians? Haha.
