Stay Gold

So the spring break is coming to a close. I really didn’t do anything, which I’m pretty glad about. Gives me more time to rest and study. = D I’ve basically been doing the minimum amount of studying a day. I should probably work on a better regime next time. I should also make it fun. Sometimes I feel like I’m only studying to torture myself. But at least I’ll reap the benefits of ~good grades~.

So I’m thinking of signing up to a language course so I have some extra-curricular activities in my university application. Maybe Japanese or another Asian language so when I come to write my personal statement, I have something to use to show my interest in Asian languages. The Japanese course near where I live is meant to be a 4 year course, but I only have a year before I go to university. That doesn’t really bother me, because if I do the whole 4 years, then there’s really no point in doing a Japanese minor at university. I’d actually like to learn something other than Asian languages so I can prove I’m adept to learning other languages, but there’s nothing that has caught my eye. Maybe Spanish? I’m not very interested in it, but it’s something I can study further if I go to university (hopefully).

I’m totally in love with this Japanese band called AKB48. Yeah, they’re J-pop *hears people moan*. They’re a group of teenage girls (48 in total) who sing songs about wanting to make out with their teacher and taking off their school uniforms to experience adult pleasure. What’s not to like? So finally the spring break has arrived. Yay to two week breaks! Boo to studying throughout it. Yeah, we’ve been advised to do at least 54 hours worth of studying through it. Not too hard if I do small sessions instead of big long sessions.

Recently, I’ve been playing a lot of Lineage 2. The game is alright. I haven’t found much to do than killing monsters and levelling, but it’s fun with friends. The game is so lulzy. The pathing is horrible, so half the time I’m end up swimming or falling off cliffs. The most annoying thing about the game is the consistent PKing. I’ve also been married twice! Yes, marrying rich men is a hobby of mine. Here’s a picture of my next wife-to-be:

It’s also snowing outside. At the start of April. Yay.

Bouncing Off Clouds

My first break has finally come. I’m so tired of having to go to college everyday, so I can look forward to sleeping in. I’ve organised to do stuffz over the break, like go to a sleepover and go out to Gatwick Airport. Fun!

As part of my Geography course, I’m going up north to Malham, in Yorkshire as part of my studies to collect primary data for my coursework. It’ll probably be wet, cold and muddy, so I’m going to have to dig out warm clothing, if I have any. It should be fun, as I know a few people going.

I finally bought some clothes. Not many, but at least I have more variety in my choice of clothing, like I can wear my waistcoat with some of my other shirts or have a different tie now and again.

Woo! New Wordpress version! Not like it introduces any new features, but yay to security updates.

It was my first official day of college on Friday. We had to be sorted into form classes, and Nicole is in mine! I wouldn’t have minded if I didn’t know anyone, but it’s a somewhat bonus to know at least one person. To break the ice, we had to speak to someone we didn’t know and then introduce them. I’ve already forgotten the person I had to introduce name, but he likes sport.

I had like, over an hour and a half of free time before I had my first lesson, so me and Danielle just wandered around the college talking. We wanted to go off-site but we got to the gate and realised that none of us knew where the local amenities were, so we walked back up.

Travel was fun. I had to introduce someone else again. She was nice. I forgot her name when we had to tell everyone, but that’s nothing a little asking again can’t solve. We had to do a little exercise about customer services. My group had to write the good points. We also got homework! I probably should get starting on that.

Geography reminded me how much I’ve forgotten about the subject. I couldn’t even remember what the star symbol was on the map, nor could I tell how high up some lake was. We also got homework here, but it’s just some quick research. Basically, I got homework for every subject.

By the third lesson, I was fed up of having to be introduced again, so good thing we bypassed that. Basically, all we did was go through what the course consists of.

Film Studies went by in a breeze. We had to write down films and then categorise them in their genres. That was it basically.
