HEART STATION

Is it normal that I keep changing what I want to do at university? Earlier, I was set on doing Japanese Studies and Politics. Now I’m leaning more towards Korean Studies with Japanese. It seems like a great way to learn two languages at once. I’ll admit that the year in Japan was like, the thing that compelled me to be interested in it. I’m pretty much over that now. XD A year in South Korea is now more appealing. I think it’s because if I follow my current career plan and sign up to the JET Scheme, I’m going to visit Japan anyway. Plus, when am I ever going to get a chance to learn Korean? If I take Korean Studies with Japanese, I can learn both!

Anyway, not much has really happened. My Geography coursework deadline was extended. Thank gosh for that. We also have a 4-day weekend! I’m so tired. XD I’m going to spend most of this weekend like, sleeping and eating. All week I’ve been eating the same lunch, which consists of rice, chicken katsu and sushi. Some days I added a shiitake mushroom to the mix. I’ve been taking it to school with me. I even wrap it in a furoshiki (which is basically a square cloth you can wrap and fold to hold things). It makes me look like a hobo. ^^

AS FOR ONE DAY

As you may have noticed, my layout has changed, and so has the inner working of this blog.  I loved the old theme, but with all the AJAX and stuff on it, it used to take so long to load, and it wouldn’t even load on some computers. XD Still, change is a good thing. Although, this new theme can be quite hard to navigate. Oh well, form over function. = D

I’ve been going out a lot lately. Last week I went to the Science Museum and then went to have Japanese food. It was fun. The Science Museum is good. I like the Launch Pad. There’s usually so many people there, and they’re all queuing to go to the IMAX Cinema. I love the Space gallery. I used to be obsessed with space when I was a child, and being there brought back some good memories. Then we went to into Central London and I had a tonkatsu bento. I love Japanese food. ^^

Today, I went into London again. We went to see the St Patrick’s Day parade, and went to see some of the stuff they were holding, like the Irish food market at Covent Gardens and Irish Cultural Village at Leicester Square. We were doing to go to Trafalgar Square and go to the concert, but we heard that there were loads of people there, so we didn’t go in the end. After that, we wondered around London and I ended up buying myself a new pair of chopsticks and a bento box.

Mirrorcle World

Woo, only Geography coursework to hand in now. I can’t wait to get all this work done, and the burden of coursework has finally lifted.

I recently got a new bag. It’s so made of KAWAII.

Don’t you just love the feeling when you’ve done so much work that you feel like you can rest for a few days? A few days ago, I did so much work that I feel like a burden has been lifted off me. Still, I have a hell of a lot more to do.

My interest in The Sims 2 has like, totally taken over again. I love the game now. I got FreeTime a few days ago and it’s so fun. ^^

I’ve also started to think about University. I’m kind of set on what I already want to do which is Japanese Studies. I kind of want to do a joint honours course, but I’m not sure which one. If I apply for Oxford Brookes, I’m thinking of either Japanese Studies and Politics or Anthropology. If I apply for Sheffield, I can do Japanese Studies and Politics. I’d like to like, combine Japanese Studies with Korean, but I can only do that at SOAS, and they prefer someone with an A Level in another foreign language, which I won’t get. I’m also looking at either Leeds or Manchester as well, to do Japanese Studies. Although with Leeds, the year abroad is in the second year, while the year abroad in the others is in the third. I’d like to go for my third year, as I’ll have a better grasp of the language.
